Butterfly kisses

Hi there friends, hope you are having a great start to your weekend!
Today I am sharing this beautiful image from Connie Fong, called "Butterfly kisses" 

 My image is colored with copics, on Hammermil premium copy cover paper.  I made my card base and then cut a white A2 stitched card topper cover sheet, raised it with 3M double sided foam tape, then I cut another piece of  yellow DP with the next size stitched A2 die and raised it with foam tape as well.  I used a pretty die for the ornate design behind the image. I then adhered the image with foam tape also.  I made the flower bouquet from I Am Roses flowers.

 Hi friends, wow I can't believe it's already the most
wonderful time of year! I am actually getting a little head start
on my Christmas cards this year!  I just love this little image here from Rachelle Miller, "Snowman" be sure to check out her shop for lots of adorable images!

 I have colored my image with copics.  I cut a scalloped square with my Cricut and then embossed with the snowflake folder.  I added some chunky embossing flakes to the top for effect!

I really like how this card turned out.  This is the first time I have made a card background with distress inks.  The card is 5 x 6. When I was done with the card I added some stampendous chunky white embossing enamel for the snow effect.

It's that time again at Lavinia World, a new challenge is starting today

This is my creation for challenge #38. 

I always have so much fun creating my pictures.  I just let my imagination run wild.  I started this one with an alcohol inks background in purple and blacks.  I knew I wanted to make it somewhat Halloween themed and this is what I came up with.

I love making mixed media frames and I figured this one would be very versatile with all my fairy creations.

Love your Vibe!

 Hi there everyone!  Today I am sharing a very special card with you.  As soon as I saw this stamp I knew I had to have it for my oldest granddaughter's birthday...it is so her!!! She was 24 on the Oct. 2 and I tell you this girl is just a free spirit that marches to the beat of her own drum!  She would have been a hippie if she were born in that era.

This adorable image is from Stamping Bella and she is "Oddball Hippie" you can get her at 7 Kids craft store.  I used the Good Vibes sentiment pack also.

My image is stamped on Hammermil Premium color copy cover paper I love how the copics blend on this paper.  The designer paper was some I had in my stash that just worked perfectly for this card.

Hello everyone and happy Thursday!! 

It's time for a new Lavina World challenge featuring Lavinia stamps.  We are a bi-weekly challenge blog and the theme is always "Anything Goes".

Here is my inspiration for Challenge #36

This was such a fun box to create as it was for a special friend!

The background is made from alcohol inks, then I tore a piece of paper and inked the mountains in.  I then placed Raven where I wanted her and went from there with the rest of the scene.  I always have a general idea of what I want to do however when I get going I just go with the flow.   I used a metal wing and covered it with black gesso and then inked it with Alchemy Fire Ruby wax, then attached to Sirlus where his wings are. I added the sentiment bar and the corner pieces and then I used Modge Podge over the complete top.

Zelith the beautiful mermaid

 Happy Thursday all!  I am very excited to announce that I am now a member of the Lavinia World Design team.... we have a new challenge starting today so be sure to join in the fun.... the winner of the challenge will receive a $15 gift certificate to spend at Lavinia World .

To create this picture I started with Alcohol inks on an 8 x 10 piece of Yuppo  paper, I did the drip process and then dabbed alcohol ink around the edges and different areas until I got the effect I wanted. I then applied the lift ink and transferred to Hammermill Premium color copy cover paper.  I always stamp my focal image first and then work from there.  When I had everything stamped I then took some Tim Holtz distress crackle paste and added some bubbles with the stencil on the edges. I added some Wink of Stella to the crackle paste and glitter to her tail.  On the seaweed I added some rhinestones.
