Fairy Wishes for your birthday!

We have a new challenge starting today at

To create this piece I start by tracing the inner circle on cardstock then I used my VersaFine Clair inks to create the background, when I was happy with the background I stamped the

I started with a Prima Resin Frame and added Black Gesso to it and all the metals.  I took Alchemy waxes and to the pieces let them dry and adhered them with 3 in 1 glue.

It's Catherine Pooler week at Crafting of Hue

if you have not used her inks you are missing out!

I love how they match the papers she has and they go on like a dream!

For this card I have used the Premium white cardstock, the Whimsical Blooms paper pad, Happy Birthday many ways stamp set, I eat Cake stamp set and the Triangle Plate die.

Inks used Fiesta Blue, It's a Girl and Tiara.

Wow that was a different 4th of July for most of us!

Ours was nice and relaxing hope yours was too!

Sometimes we just have to be quirky and have fun and that is what

these guys from Twistoon are doing

They are social distancing from all of us and it looks like they may be a little concerned !

My image was colored using copics, and the background was made with the Ocean waves stencil using "Seafarer Archival ink.

Hi there are you ready for the big weekend?

I am so excited to be a guest designer

for Lavinia World! These stamps just allow me to escape into a world all of their own!

I love creating the backgrounds for these cards.  This background was created using Brusho's purple, yellow and turquoise on a gelli plate. I then take an A2 size piece of watercolor paper and press it on the gelli plate, I let it dry for a bit and proceed to create my scene.

I always stamp the main images first and then build from there. I have used the following stamps for this scene.

Ariel (small)

Rory (Rory & Darcy set)

Fairy buttercups

Fairy Hive set

Twisted Vine set

Berry Leaves

I used 3 VersaFine Clair inks on this card,

Monarch, Nocturne and Twilight.

When everything is stamped I take a piece of round cardstock and place it where I want it and just ink off of the cardstock to create the moon.  I then took a glue pen and went around the edge and then added glitter

I blend my inks with the Picket Fence Studios Blender brushes.

I always finish the edge of my card by inking them a little darker.
