Be Happy !

Wow can you believe we are just a couple of days away from 2010 ! I tell you the years just fly by these days. I hope you have a very safe and Happy New Year whatever you may be doing. I will be going to my son's and just hanging out playing games and watching movies. I am so excited I finally got my Winter kit stamps mounted so I could ink them up and play ! I used this cute little sketch from Dawny P over at Papertake Weekly if you have not been over there go check them out and join in the fun. This will also qualify for the Roses on Paper Challenge where the challenge is "colouring with your favourite medium/s" (copics) and using an approved stamp. Tilda is colored with copics, skin - YR61, E00, R20, hair and pants - E37, E35, E33, E31, blouse - RV11, RV13 little basket E51, E33, socks E51, RV13. I added diamond stickles to her blouse, socks and hearts. I have used Distress ink on the sides of the card and image. The DP is Basic gray extravagance mixed with some pieces I had in my stash. The sentiment is from my stash as well. Thanks for taking time to stop by.

Merry Christmas my friend !

Happy Friday everyone ! Thanks for taking time out of your busy day to stop by and peak at my card. I made this for someone very special that works with me don't want to say her name in case she is peeking in here. I was planning on entering this card into 3 challenges however life got in the way and two of them have ended. I used the sketch from Friday Sketchers last week. At Just Magnolia they wanted anything Christmassy ! The challenge I will enter is Magnolia Down Under where they want Bedazzled. I have colored my image with copics. DP is Imaginisce "Polar Expressions". On the present and her stockings I have added some diamond stickles. Her little top knot on her hat and her gloves are done with "Polar white" flower soft. I cut the little border piece with my wishblade, distressed it with Antique Walnut distress ink, ran the ribbon through it which I had in my stash and added a little charm that my sweet friend Sharron gave when I was visiting her a couple of months ago.
Have a very Merry Christmas Season everyone I hope you have lots of treasured time with family and friends. There is nothing more special than the memories we make they are the most precious gift we can give !

Accessories make the card !

Happy Sunday to you all and thanks for coming by ! It seems as if I have not done anything lately with crafting....between the looming threat of a strike at work and just being really busy for the holidays I have just been drained to say the least. I am very glad that we did settle and there will be no strike Lord willing and the vote goes as it should.

The DT at Manolia-Licious highlites asked us to make a card with just accessory stamps. Kerry from
Three Clovers designs gave this cute sketch for the month at Mangnolia-Licious also ! Thanks ladies for stretching my imagination to make a card with out Tilda :(

This little card was more of a challenge than I expected...um just use the accessory stamps of which I only have two !!! This one which is a stamp of 3 trees that I won from Diana at Magnolia-Licious...thanks so much. I have colored them with my copics, and added some dimensional fabric paint for the snow. The little sign is computer generated from a graphic set called "Winter Pals" by Jordan Bryan. I then added some "Polar White" flower soft on the bottom and around the sign.

The DP is Basic Gray the Eskimo Kisses collection which I just love.

Well I am off to church and then to work hope you all have a great day and a Happy Thanksgiving !

I have used two stamps both are from the So Spooky collection, #553 Moon with tree branch and #395 Witch Tilda with pumpkins you can get them at Magnolia-licious. I used the sketch over at Midnight Madness, MMSC25. I really like it and it worked perfect for this easel card. This will also qualify for Magnolia Down Under where they wanted distressing

DP is Basic Gray Erie collection, images are colored with copics E33, E37, E55, E00, C00, C1,C3, C5, C7, Y11, Y17, YR04 YR16, Y21, Y26, YR21, YR61V04, V12, BV08, R20, BG93, BG96. . The gems are some I had in my stash. The sentiment is computer generated and distressed with Tim Holtz antique linen and frayed burlap distress inks. I added some Diamond stickles to the lace on her dress and around her sleeves. The moon has yellow stickles around it as well for effects and bling. Here is a close up of Tilda for ya !

Tilda gathers straw

Hi and thanks for coming by to visit me...I have been having a great week here in California, for those of you who don't know me I am a native CA girl transplanted to AZ. I have been enjoying some real quality time with my real good friends Sharron and Kathe. We have shopped and shopped and ate and played the perfect vacation in my book.

Now on to my card this is Tilda gathers straw....that I snagged from Sharron LOL ! We did alot of imaging swapping this past week ! I made this card for the Friday Sketchers challenge
This sketch is from Claudia and I will use this one lots and lots I am sure as it just a fun sketch. This also qualifies for the KL Stampin N Scrappin challenge to use fall colors.

Tilda is colored with copics I did not list them this time sorry...her little wings are done in Diamond Stickles and the top of the straw has flower soft. I got the webbed ribbon (think that is what is called at the LSS here) The paper are from the Deja Vu stack that I had already. Thanks for coming by and have a great day !

A clean and simple card !

Hi and thanks for coming by to see me today ! Magnolia-licious Highlites is having a little challenge to create a clean and simple card. I cut my card base on the wish-blade and then embossed it and went over the embossing with color box pink chalks. I used the Tilda with garland you can get her from Diana here. I cut her out and attached her with some pop up dots for some depth. This is my frist attempt at coloring the blacks with my copics...needless to say a few images hit the shredder LOL ! Copics used are RV11, RV13, RV14, R20 RV0000, C1, C3, C5, C7, C9, G02, YR61, E00, B34, B41. I added some Baby pink flower soft to her garland and some diamond stickles on her blouse and shoes for a little bling. Ribbon was some I had I believe I picked up at Joann's. I appreciate all your comments and any tips for coloring the blacks. Have a great crafting day.

Trick or Treat Tilda

Hi everybody, I can't believe it has been almost a month since I put a little something here to share, I have just not been crafting alot lately not sure why I think it was just one of those little down times for me. However I do have this little card to share with you....I made her for the homepage challenge at Magnolia yahoo group, the requirement was that it be Halloween themed. I did have lots of fun with this little image Tilda holding a spider that can be purchased from Diana here. I was given this image by a dear friend thank you very much as I only have the two that were shared with me that are Halloween themed. I have done something a little different with my card, I have incorporated Tilda with some graphics from Laurie Furnell one of my favorite artist you can get her stuff at PC Crafter. I cut out the spider web, cauldron, spider and bat with my wishblade. All the papers and the edges are all printed from the graphic sets even the little trick or treat bag. The spider in the web has fun flock on him and the web actually has webbing on it. Tilda's little spider has a touch of silver stickles on it for accent. Tilda is colored with copics BV0000, BV00, BV13, G0000, G02, R0000, R00, R11, R20, E33, E37, C1 and C5 I have added a side shot so you can see the dimension of the card, the inside is not done yet I will finish it this week. Thanks for stopping by hope you have a great day !

Just Peeking in to say Hi - Friday sketchers wk.65

I just love this sketch by Beatrix, over at Friday Sketchers and I had just received this adorable little stamp and wanted to do something with him...isn't he just the cutest ! He is a Daisy Pot Shy Bear and you can get him here.

With that being said here is the recipe for the card.....dp were just scraps I had laying around LOL I am really trying to utilize what I have which is way to much. I have colored him with my copics, 110, B32, B34, B41, E31, E35, YG67, Y08, BG93, R59, RV95. His little eyes have liquid embossing by All Night Media, and the flowers have Delphinium Blue flower soft on them for depth and shading. I used Tim Holtz Walnut stain distress ink to do around the edge of the card and the image. I omitted the flowers on the bottom as I felt it would be to much for this particular card...
Thanks for coming by I hope you have a great day !
