Beautiful sunflower

 Hey friends today I am sharing this beautiful sunflower stamp CLR248 from Prickley Pear Stamps.  I had no idea that sunflowers came in so many colors.  I did a little google search and picked out the one I thought was the prettiest to color up.  This particular image does have a coordinating die PPRS-D48.

I have colored my image with copics on Cyogen White cardstock. I used a water brush with alcohol in it  to do the background in between the stems, by adding B01 on acetate and then brushing lightly. The background clouds on the top are done by ink blending.

Brighter Days Ahead

Hey there friends!  I am here today sharing another beautiful stamp set called "Brighter Days Ahead, CLR285" it is an addition to the Southwest collection at Prickley Pear Stamps.  

I have colored my image with Copics, on Hammermill Premium Color Copy Cover paper 100lb. I cute the image out and popped it up on an ink background done with Distress Oxides.  I have used the Extreme Postage die from Whimsy stamps. 

Bam warrior princess!

 Happy Friday friends!  It's release day for Scrappyboy stamps and this release is so darn cute!  Who does not love Sailor Moon?  This set is called "Warrior Princess" it comes with 9 stamps and 4 sentiment stamps! There are coordinating paper packs and stencils.  I have used the stencil in the background.

My image is colored with copics.  I have used the comic burst die from Whimsy stamps.

For my second project I have used the adorable Cute Girls "Chores" set this set has 8 stamps and 11 sentiments that can be used for so many cute things. The coordinating papers are perfect for these little girls doing their chores.  I have made a dex card with mine as I love to flip through my creations.

Rudolph and his adorable sweater

 It's day 2 of the new "Rudolph and Santa" release at Prickley Pear Stamps.  This little Rudolph is so cute I just can't get enough of him! 
The set comes with 10 stamps and 5 sentiments and coordinating dies.

I had so much fun creating this card.  I have colored my image with copics on Premium coloring paper from Sweet Sentiment. I added some snowflakes(one of the stamps in the set)  I used chucky embossing powder for the snow.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas at Prickley Pear Stamps!  I am just now starting my Christmas cards, and this little set is just perfect! I love the little sweater on Rudolph♥ The set comes with 10 stamps and 5 sentiments and coordinating dies.

I had so much fun creating this card.  I have colored my image with copics on Premium coloring paper from Sweet Sentiment. I added some fun flock to Santa's suit.  I embossed the background and then added a die cut mountain scene and added glitter to it.  My slimline die is from Whimsy.

Hi friends I am back again with another beautiful image from Joy Clair stamps.  This image is in the "To You" digital collection.

I love the simplicity of this image it can be used for so many different things.  My card is a "Upright Diamond fold card" you can find the instructions for it here.  

I am really enjoying the fancy fold cards lately they just seem to add a little to the image.  My image is colored with copics on Hammermill Premium Color Copy Cover #100 cardstock.

Extraordinary

 Happy Monday friends!  I am so excited to be on the guest design team for Joy Clair.  This image comes from the "Extraordinary" digital set.

My image is colored with copics, on Hammermil Premium Color Copy Cover paper #100.  I embossed the background and added some strips using Whimsy's slimline zig zag edger die.

With Love at Christmas

 It's time for a little Christmas in July!  Catherine Pooler has some of the cutest sets for Christmas.

I have used the Adorning Doves stamp and die set to create this card.  I embossed with a snowflake folder and and then stamped the "Holiday Glimmer Stamp with the Rockin Red ink pad.  I watercolored with the Rockin Red ink, and the Eucalyptus ink.  The dove is colored with copics.

These stamps is so much fun to play with!  This is my final project with the "Practically Perfect" set from Scrappyboy! I have to tell you the stamps stamp so clear on the first press and the dies cut like butter. 

For this card I used the "Platform die" from Lawn Fawn and the add on die. I cut the city scape on the cricut and my images are colored with copics.  I paper pieced her handbag.  The papers are a digital set specifically Mary Poppins.

Reds:   R22, R24, R27
Skin: E50, E51, E53
Brown: E41, E42, E43, E44

Chim-chimney

Hey there friends I am back again with some more of those adorable stamps from Scrappyboy!  This is the Practically Perfect set and who does not love Mary Poppins!!!  Be sure to stop by Scrappyboy Stamps and check out all the adorable sets they have!

I just love this little chimney sweep.  I created the background with Versa Fine Clair inks, then I cut the sky line and the little Mary Poppins on the cricut.  My image is colored with copics on Hammermill Color Copy Cover cardstock 100 lb.

There is no where to go but up!

 I am honored to by guest designing for Scrappyboy Stamps.  I am working with the "Practically Perfect" set and I have to say when I was asked this was the set I was hoping for.  Mary Poppins was one of the first drive in movies I went to as a child, and this really took me back to that happy time.

My image is stamped on Hammermill premium color copy cover cardstock 100lb.  I created the background using my copic refills and dripping alcohol on them letting it dry and then dripping again until I got the effect I wanted.

They are actually really easy to make....

I made a 6x6 base, then you just add you layers as you wish.
I cut (4) 2.5" x 5" strips and scored them at 2.5" I watched this video YouTube and went from there.  I glued everything in place except the images as that is the hardest part you want to make sure they open correctly.  Look at the picture below and you can see how the images are the exact opposite in the way you lay them.

Below is my card using the amazing "Oak Fairy" stamp.  I had lots of fun coloring her up and then she is the perfect size for a slim line card.

My image is colored with copics on Hammermill Premium Color Copy cover cardstock.  I used a Lavinia stencil "Foliage" for the background using LDRS inks, Prickly Pear, Iced Tea and Olive Branch. The slimline die is from LDRS also and is out of stock it is call "Diagonal Slimline multi die"
