Blossom

Happy Wednesday to you all!  It is time for another challenge at Creative Moments, this time we want to see you use just one flower on your creation!  We are being sponsored by Delicious Doodles and for my card I am using the beautiful "Blossom". 

 

 

I used the sketch from Friday sketch challenge #73.  I always print out two images just in case well I decided to cut the butterfly out and pop up the wings for a little dimension.  She is colored with copics.  Papers are from my stash.

 

 

I was so happy with the way this card turned out I think she is one of my favorites for sure.

Wishing you a whole Latte love!

Nothing like waiting till the last minute to get a card done for a challenge.  I tell you things get hectic around here between work, kids, and grandkids oh well keeps me on my toes LOL!  I made this card for the challenge at Jess Challenge the theme is to use you favorite colors and one of mine is browns and blues.  I just love these little images she has and soon as I seen this one I knew what I was going to do with it.  The sketch is one from a card class I took with Jenn and I thought is was so cute, just love the little coffee stir stick as an embellishment.

 

I added some puff paint to the cup to give the effect of a real thermal mug and glossy accents to the lid.

Hi there hope everyone had a great Mother's Day!  It is time for a new challenge at CMC Challenges, it is all about "Pretty Pastels"  We are being sponsored by Art by Miran and the lucky challenge winner will win 3 digis of their choice. For my card I have used "Tulipa".  Our challenge will run until May 23rd so you have lots of time to join.

I used a sketch from "Sunday Sketch and Stamp" #204 for my card layout.  I went with a CAS look on this just didn't feel it needed anything else.

My image is colored with copics on cryogen white, all design papers were from my stash.

Always Sassy!

Happy Hump Day to you all!  Hope you had a nice Easter and got to enjoy some quality time with those you love the most. 
I have some exciting news to share with  you all I am now a member of the "Creative Moments" DT and I am honored that I was asked to join the team and super excited to work with a really nice group of ladies.  So with that being said this is my DT inspiration for challenge 41, anything goes with spring colors.  We are being sponsored by

I have used the "New Sassy Cassie" isn't she just a cute little fashion statement with her spring attire.

 



 

 

 

I made an easel card to show her off. When I am looking for card layouts to make I go to my favorite crafters and look at the cards they have made and then take that sketch and go from there.  I saw this particular style card on Jennifer Doves page.  The DP's are "Authentique" Summer.  My image is colored with copics on Cryogen white paper which you can get at the Paper Temptress.

Colors used are as follows:

Skin: E50, E51 and R20

Hair and Boots: E42, E44

Yellows: Y02, Y06, Y08

Blues: BG000, BG01, BG02, BG05

I dabbed the markers on the boots to give the effect of suede.

Daisy is Framed

Happy Superbowl Sunday to you all!  Hope your favorite team wins...I am pulling for the "Seahawks" but it really does not matter to me.  I am looking forward to next years Superbowl as it will be here in AZ and I am hoping we have the home field advantage.

I have exciting news to share I am back on the DT for CMC Challenge group!  I have missed being on the team as I had taken some time off due to health issues.  Our challenge theme is "Girly" sponsored by "Dilly Beans"  go have a peak as they have some adorable images to choose from.  I am using "Daisy Framed" from the big eyed images.

What girl does not like flowers, swirls and bows!  It is a pretty CAS card.  I added some little prima roses her hair for some dimension.  Put some rhinestones in the center of the flowers and added a little bos for some bling.

The layers of the image are popped up to add a little depth.  Daisy is colored with copics.  The swirls are Magnolia Doohickey Dies, the inside is a MS punch.

The colors I used are as follows:

Leaves:  YG23 G28
