Always in your heart

Hi there and a very happy Monday to you all!  I hope you all had a great weekend.  I have just came off a 10 day vacation in California so I am a happy girl.  I spent the week crafting and coloring away with my dear friend Sharron and visiting my youngest grandsons.

It is time for another challenge at Aurora Wings, this time it is nice and easy for all to enter as it is anything goes.  I chose this image as I needed to make a sympathy card for my boss as she lost her Dad very unexpectedly in the beginning of Feb.  I apologize for the picture however it is the best one I could get with the true color....I tried a photo tent, outside, inside with my camera and the purples were looking all mismatched LOL!  So this is one with my phone and it is the best one of them all.

I have used the beautiful "Pansy Corner 2" for this card and it could be used for so many different style cards.

Clean and simple

Happy Saturday all hope you had a great 4th of July if you celebrate!  We had a very nice relaxing day and I started vacation for a week so I am a happy girl!  I would like to share with you a little card I did and is completely out of my zone as I don't do clean and simple. 

 

The base is Heavenly White, the focal image is colored on Cryogen White and the pink cardstock is watermelon sorbet #100 from the spring package.  You can get the beautiful papers at the Paper Temptress  The spellbinders die cut is Heavenly White.  The little image is from Aurora Wings  and is called “Snapdragon Sprite”.   I embossed the corners with a little cuttlebug folder and added the little diamonds the spellbinders die cut.

It's been a Calgon type of day!

I have choose to do  African American skin tone and I have to say I was a little nervous as I have never done this skin tone before! So what are you waiting for grab some markers and come play along with us who knows you could be the next guest designer!

I have popped her up for some dimension.  The black cardstock is embossed with bubbles.  All of the cuts were done on the Silhoutte.

Lady in Red

Let's hear it for the weekend!  Are you having a good one so far?  I am as I am on vacation  in Huntington Beach, CA visiting my two youngest grandsons and their beautiful mother.  I will get to be here for the whole week and we will be celebrating both of the boys birthday Tyler will be 5 and Blake will be 3! I am so excited to spend some time with them.

It is time for another Challenge at CMC Challenge group this time we are being sponsored by "Art by Miran"  If you have not seen her work please stop by as she has some adorable images.  For this challenge we want to see you use those REDS!  Red is one of my favorite colors, however it can be challenging to work with.  For my DT inspiration I have used "Princess Bride"  I loved the dress and her hair!

The DP's is Love Story by Echo Park.  The little scroll is a rub on from Bling it On and I just add some sticky beads to her hair and a little glitter to her earrings and bouquet.  She is colored with copics.  All of these items are in my stash...I tell you it is like a small store in my craft studio!
