For my project I have used the the beautiful "Snow Queen". My image is colored with copics. When I finished coloring the image, I adhered my my images to a light weight piece of chipboard. I applied pieces of napkins around the edges with matte medium, then once I had those where I wanted them applied guesso for texture. Once that was completed I took water colors and starting closest to the image painted away to cover the guesso. It is a fun way to do a project for a journal cover or to frame a project.

I love this mixed media project from you, Charlene! You've colored the Snow Queen in beautiful shades of blues. The torn napkin edges are really cool for the fuzzy border between the colorful floral background and the icy center piece. It's like she has a beautiful special aura around her!
