Relax and Enjoy!

Happy Memorial Day weekend to all of you who celebrate this holiday!  It has been a busy week around here with graduations etc., and then the flu hit our family.  I am finally feeling like I am somewhat alive again being under the weather is no fun at all.

It is time for another challenge at CMC Challenges and this time it is all about "Father's Day" or boy stuff.  We are being sponsored by Dr. Digi, and the winner of this challenge will win two digis of their choice.  If you have not checked them out go take a look there are some really cute images to choose from.  I have used "Ambrose king of the waves" isn't he just the cutest!

My image is colored with copics.  The DP is "Summer Lovin Boardwalk " by Samantha Walker.  The water paper was a piece I had in my stash and just matched perfectly.  I added a little puff paint and glitter to his frosty just for fun.

What's Up!

It is party time on the streets!   Make it Crafty and Little Miss Muffet had a fun release "Graffiti Party"  I have to say at first I thought nah not my style and then I keep looking and thought heck why not and I have to tell you these little images are so much fun to get creative with.  So here is my scene with "Johnny"

I used some burlap with some "Rusty hinge" distress ink on it just for the added masculine feel.
Here is a side view so you can see the depth of the card.  I fussy cut Johnny and the skateboard.

I hope you will stop by and grab some of these fun images and join in the fun!

I will be entering this card into the following challenges:
Whimsy Stamps - Challenge 63 Masculine
Sister Act - Challenge 26 anything goes
The Graffiti Party - urban scene

Look at that "Hair"

Happy Cyber Monday to you !  I hope you all had a blessed Thanksgiving weekend and got to spend some time with those that are closest to your heart I know I did.  It is always a busy weekend for our family as my oldest son's birthday is the 27th....Yep he was my Turkey boy in 1975 :)
We have another fun challenge up for you at CMC Challenge this time we want to see you color some funky hair...using multi colors. You may use any image you like of course but NO BRUNETTES, BLONDES or BLACK Haircolors!!   I bet right about now everyone is ready for a break from Christmas cards !
Our sponsor for this challenge is Simply Betty Stamps the winner will receive some stamps from them and a pack of cryogen white paper.
For my card I used the image called "Jude Pumpkins"  I thought he would fit very well with some funky hair.  I used Kraft cards stock as my base and just ran it through the cuddle bug for some dimension add a strip of perfect paper for birthday.....guy cards are just a challenge for me a few brads some distress ink and there we have it.  The sentiment inside says "You will always be my favorite pumpkin" Happy Birthday !  My oldest grand-daughter wanted this for her dads birthday !
