Life is easier with a friend!

Hi there thanks for stopping by! I hope you are having a good week.  We are experiencing some very hot weather here in the southwest desert which is just draining me this year for some reason.  Oh well I would rather be hot than freezing with snow that is for sure! 

I made this little card a little while back and with all the goings on around my house have just not been able to get it posted.  My image is called "Froggie Serenade" from Digi Stamps for Joy.  I just loved this little image as soon as I seen it.

 

Papers are from my stash, the flowers are cut from the Silhoutte and the images is colored with copics.  I hope you have enjoyed my little creation and you find some time to get creative and relax.

Wishing you a whole Latte love!

Nothing like waiting till the last minute to get a card done for a challenge.  I tell you things get hectic around here between work, kids, and grandkids oh well keeps me on my toes LOL!  I made this card for the challenge at Jess Challenge the theme is to use you favorite colors and one of mine is browns and blues.  I just love these little images she has and soon as I seen this one I knew what I was going to do with it.  The sketch is one from a card class I took with Jenn and I thought is was so cute, just love the little coffee stir stick as an embellishment.

 

I added some puff paint to the cup to give the effect of a real thermal mug and glossy accents to the lid.

Shimmer Rose Monochromatic

Hi there thanks for stopping by.  It is time for another challenge at Creative Moments.  The theme for this challenge is "Monochromatic".  We are being sponsored by "Eastwind" be sure to check out the great selection of images they have to choose from.  The name of  the image I used is "Pink Rose Shimmer"

 

 

I choose to go with black and white it always looks so elegant.  All of the beautiful paper for my card is from the Paper Temptress.  The base of my card is Neenah Solar white, the beautiful luster frame top is Vintage Silver Lustre, I must tell you this paper is just so pretty this picture does not do it justice at all. The black matting behind the frame is Black Crepe Ruche, and lastly my image is colored on cryogen white.  Here is a side view.

 

I used the C00, C1, C2, C3, C5, C7 C9 for my image.  Skin tone E50, E51 E93.  The frame of the card is from Silhoutte and I have to say this paper cut like a dream.  I hope you have enjoyed my card and that you find some time to get creative it is good for your soul.
