I hope each of you are ready for a very Merry Christmas ! This past year I have had the honor to meet and work for one of the kindest ladies ever....Suzanne Dean... I call her "Boss Lady". She is just a wealth of knowledge and talent and has a heart about 4 times as big as she is. A White Winter Wonderland

Only 12 days till Christmas......are ready? I am just need to do all the wrapping now. I am sitting here enjoying a very cold wet winter day in Arizona....and it is suppose to stay that way for the next week !

And just the fact that a huge part of life involves being able to read--to get through school, get a great job and navigate through life. For me teaching children to read early on in life is a MUST yet so many children are not provided with the basic materials to learn to read. So this charity is a non-profit that provides books to children and opportunities to bring literacy into areas that need it!

I knew what I was going to do as soon as Suzanne told us the challenge....

My card is done with "Snowy with a snowflake" and the pine trees both are stamps from Magnolia-licious, I also used the fence doo-hickey die. I used the snowflakes embossing folder and then went over it with Antique Linen distress ink. The big gold snowflake under the sentiment is a "Whimsy die" I have added stickles to the trees and the snowflake for bling.

Happy Hump Day ! Are you almost ready for Christmas? I have a few more things to get and then the wrapping to do. We have had some very chilly weather come in here this week so it feels like Christmas :)
Are you looking for that perfect Christmas gift to you from with lots of love....hey I know I always get myself one well come on over to the CMC classroom and sign up for class 5 it is jam packed with lots of fun techniques

just look at the rusty old truck how cool is that and you can learn to color like that !

I had so much fun making this card for my DIL to give my son for his birthday it is so him LOL ! These cute little images are from Mo's Digital Pencil...I made this an easel card one of my favorite types of card.....this is one of the few cards for a man I have done that I think it turned out pretty good !

My image is printed on Cryogen white and colored with copics. I computer generated the sentiments. DP's are just stuff I had laying around and then I use the MS border and corner punch to accent it.

So there you have and I have to tell you my good friend Sharon is always such an inspiration to me and I just love her to pieces...Hugs to ya my friend !

Look at that "Hair"

Happy Cyber Monday to you ! I hope you all had a blessed Thanksgiving weekend and got to spend some time with those that are closest to your heart I know I did. It is always a busy weekend for our family as my oldest son's birthday is the 27th....Yep he was my Turkey boy in 1975 :)
We have another fun challenge up for you at CMC Challenge this time we want to see you color some funky hair...using multi colors. You may use any image you like of course but NO BRUNETTES, BLONDES or BLACK Haircolors!! I bet right about now everyone is ready for a break from Christmas cards !
Our sponsor for this challenge is Simply Betty Stamps the winner will receive some stamps from them and a pack of cryogen white paper.

For my card I used the image called "Jude Pumpkins" I thought he would fit very well with some funky hair. I used Kraft cards stock as my base and just ran it through the cuddle bug for some dimension add a strip of perfect paper for birthday.....guy cards are just a challenge for me a few brads some distress ink and there we have it. The sentiment inside says "You will always be my favorite pumpkin" Happy Birthday ! My oldest grand-daughter wanted this for her dads birthday !

Happy Fall Y'all

Wow what a beautiful Saturday it is here in AZ. The AC's are off, windows and doors are open with a delish pumpkin pie candle burning! It has been a great week for me as I have been on vacation, had lots to deal with and get done so it was a perfect time for a vacation. I still have today and tomorrow to enjoy so today has been spent in my craft room. I just love days like this with nothing to do but what I want to....so this little card somewhat reflects the mood I have been in this week..thinking and reflecting on the beauty of each day !

I just love this little Tilda she can be used for so many things I am not sure of her name but I am sure you could find her at Magnolia-licious. The little fence and tree background is from my stash, the pumpkins are a freebie from Make it Crafty. My image is colored with copics and the sky is done with chalk. I added a little stickles to her hair tie and lace on her shirt and shoes just for that girly fun....I used one of those cheap dollar bin punches for the extra leaves I thought it gave it just the perfect touch. Tilda is fussy cut and popped up for dimension.

A Spooktacular Day

Hi there a good Monday evening to you...hope you had a great weekend. Wow can you believe it is almost Halloween where did this year go...holy cow I can't believe the holidays are already upon us. It is funny how the time goes so fast the older we get ! The weather here is beautiful a little on the warm side in the afternoon but hey that is better than snow. I am starting vacation this coming Saturday...just staying home this time and hanging out. My grandson is in his first MMA tournament so we will be there on Sat and then heading to Fear Farm later that night.

This is the birthday card I made for my granddaughter's 16th birthday....I have to say I saw an example card on the crafts and me site that I snagged this coloring scheme and flower and feather in her hair from this lady...it was just the perfect fit for the scheme we had going for her. My image is called "Forever Rose" from
Crafts and Me. My image is colored with copics, my DP's are Basic Grey "Bittersweet" I used a MS border punch and the Magnolia flourish Doohickey Die...sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps. I added fun flock to the little thing her hand is leaning on for a little deminsion.

A little Christmas in October

A very happy Saturday to you all....it is a very special weekend in our household as my oldest Grand-daughter turns 16 tomorrow, however we had her party last night and I have to say it is one of the best parties I have ever been to. My daughter-in-law, myself and her other grandma had so much fun making this such a special day for her... This is a picture of her and her boyfriend "Julian" and he did get her this beautiful Tiara for her birthday and this is my son and my wonderful daughter-in-law Kim

Okay enough of the family and on to the reason you are here.....yep you guessed it right it's time for another challenge over at the CMC Challenge group and this time we would like to see you use those copics and make it look like you colored with distress inks......the winner of this challenge will get to choose 3 stamps from Magnolia-licious and a pack of cryogen white paper which is my favorite paper to color by far. You will also be entered into the monthly drawing for the shopping spree and Oozak...now who does not want some more copics or refills!

For my card I have used "Unwrapped Tilda" and she is in stock at Magnolia-licious...she can be used for so many different occasions. Treasure the Moment.....

A very happy Monday evening to you all, hope you had a great weekend ! I took the day off yesterday and just enjoyed my day with my DIL and grand-kids, shopping and then watching a movie, some yard work and a nice dinner. The weather here is just beautiful I so love this time of year as it still warm in the afternoon and cool in the evenings and mornings...now don't get me wrong it can still get cooler but this sure beats 113 !
It's time for another challenge at CMC challenge group , this time we want to see your copic skills with coloring in black/white or sepia colors with one pop color. I had never done this type of coloring before so it was a new challenge for me too !

I used the digi image "Melissa" from Funky Kits. My image is colored with copics E40,41,42,43,44,47 and my one color pop is R89, I used walnut distress ink for the edges of the image....all DP's, Kraft card stock, etc are from my stash. I added a little stickles to the flower for that little glimmer.

Blowing Birthday wishes your way !

Hi there what a beautiful day it is here is AZ. it was actually a little cool here this morning. I am so loving the change in the weather as I am over the heat of summer !
I have a couple of days off work so I am enjoying them in my craft room...I need to get started on some Christmas cards and get ahead on some DT projects so that is my goal.
You still have a couple more days to enter the challenge at the CMC Challenge group we want to see some fall colors and then be on the lookout for the next challenge....you won't want to miss that one lots of fun and will stretch your copic skills !
This is a birthday card I made for my dear friend Gail....and I did not post it cause I wanted her to see it first and then forgot all about it till she posted the adorable card she made for me on her blog ! Gail makes the cutest cards and has a heart of gold...

My image is colored with copics...I am sorry but I lost the list I am pretty sure they are the BG's and YR's and E00, E000 and R20 for her skin. I have added stickles to her wings and glossy accents to the bubbles for accent. The sentiment stamp is on from the dollar bin at Michael's. I have no clue what the papers are as I made this from a card kit I rec'd from a great group of gals on SCS..if you have never played along there you should give it a try...great ladies and lots of fun.

I used an MS border punch for the inside with a sentiment stamp that was a gift .... thanks Nora !

We are "Old Sames"

Good Thursday evening to you all...wow what a week here and the temps are still over 110 ! I tell you I am over summer and the humidity, sure could use some nice fall days ! Do you like to read ? Well there is a new book club called "Bookendz" and we are reading a new book every month ! For the month of August we are reading "Snow flower and the Secret Fan" by Lisa See .... what a great book about friendship, culture, love and betrayal. What an eye opener to just how lucky we are as women to live in the USA....so if you want a can't put it down book go check this out.

I made a "Tri fold shutter" card, as I thought it would be perfect to showcase my to images. I have used Chinese Tilda and you and find her at Magnolia-licious she is in stock and there is also a mini if you are interested. The little Big eyed image in the back is a digi "Chibi Japan" from the "Greeting Farm" . My DP's are from a stack called "Global Views" I have to say I think this is one of my favorite cards to date...and a first for me in coloring black hair since my class with Suzanne. The little Chibi image was actually in the trash :) as her hair looked horrible but I took her out and kept working with her and the colorless blender and I am happy with the end result.

The inside of my card is the verse from Jer. 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you, plans for welfare to give you hope and a future" This card is going to a very special young lady in our family that is going to college studying language and want to do missions in China and teach English and the love of Christ.....I am so proud of you Emily !

I had so much fun making this little card up. I have used the "Whimsical Log" and "Vixie" my images are colored with copics. I have added some flower soft to the log for the moss and stickles to her wings, the flower centers and butterflies. The papers and ribbon are from my stash.

I cut a scalloped piece of paper and then just used chalk to make my clouds.

A very happy Sunday to you all, hope you are having a good end to your weekend! I can’t believe that the month of July is over with already where does the time go? I have been on vacation this past week and really got to relax and enjoy myself getting caught up on some coloring and doing some reading. I have had this image colored for a long time it is actually from my beginning days of coloring and was just waiting for the perfect reason to make her into a card. I can tell you that she is colored with the RV’s with stickles added to her for accent. She is one of my favorite images called “Tilda blowing hearts” and you can get the mini version of her at Magnolia-licious.

The DP is “Express yourself creatively”. I have used walnut stain and antique linen DI’s to give the vintage look. I used RV95 to tip the roses to match Tilda’s dress.

Hi there everyone hope you are having a great start to your weekend ! Wow it has been almost a month since my last post. As most of you know I was moving and now we are pretty much settled in our new home and I am loving it, it is so peaceful and pretty out here we are at the base of the White Tank mountains so when I walk out my bedroom door to the patio I have a really pretty view. I treated myself to some new furniture so on my upcoming vacation I will work on actually putting my craft studio together....um it seems I have a little more goodies than I thought so I may need to have some custom cabinets built KWIM so we will see that will happen later if necessary which I am thinking it will be.

It is challenge time again over at CMC Challenge group this time we want to see your favorite copic coloring technique....Just to name a few: feathering, coloring embellishments, airbrushing, bridging colors, folds, hair colors, colorless blender techniques, black/white/sepia, and more!
I used blending, folds/pleats and blending 2 colors together.

I am so happy you stopped by to visit me today...hope you are having a great week ! Mine has been good just really busy. We are getting to the 2 week count down till we move and I know the time is just going to fly by KWIM !!!! I am really excited and can't wait to put together my new crafting room...it is always fun to get a new twist to things.

Color an image that has feathers or make it look like feathers---you can use bird images of course or get creative and create a feathered look on clothing, flowers or something else. We want to see the texture so keep the stoke lines visible. My image is a digital image from Crafts and Me, she is called "Twilight" I just fell in love with her as she has such a peaceful look. I have printed her out on Cryogen white paper and she is colored with copics, with stickles added randomly. I have used Nestabilites Labels Five to frame her, I traced around the outside of the nestie so she would fit and just cut it out and then put her on the pink backing and trimmed close to the nestie shape....custom job KWIM heheheh ! My DP's are Basic Greys "Bittersweet" I have used the Magnolia DooHickey die "Antique Lace" and the "Flourish", you can get these at Magnolia-licious. The roses are from Wild Orchid Crafts. We are having some really beautiful weather here in the southwest desert....still cooling down nicely in the evenings and not getting to hot in the day.....just really hoping it stays this way for another month to get us through the move. This challenge is all about "Coloring Whites" My image is printed on Cryogen white...so I had to use some antique linen distress in on the edges and also on the frame. My frame is cut on the wishblade and then I have used the swiss dots folder to emboss the card base. I have used 3 variations of coloring white.

Hello Little Butterfly !

Hi there....how is your week going? Mine has been pretty nice and the weather here has just been beautiful !
I think this little image is one of my all time favorites....and then as soon as I seen it she reminded me of the day at the Botanical Gardens with Suzanne where a little butterfly landed on her and hitched a ride for a bit. I could not resist and had to make this for Suzanne and now that she has received it, I can share it with you.

I have used numerous punches and dies....fiskars butterfly border, MS butterfly punch, Magnolia vintage tag, nestabilites scalloped oval, and Marianne swirls....I did not write down the beautiful DP's I am sorry, and then there is the lace....thanks Gail for suggesting it...I think it is just the perfect touch ! I added some stickles to the butterfly and the swirls, I inked the edges with a really pretty stamping up ink rasberry I believe. I hope you have enjoyed my little card .

Let's go Tropical !

Happy May Day ! I hope you had a nice weekend I had an amazing one, spent all day Sat with my good friend Gail just chatting, stamping and coloring and making cards and we enjoyed a great lunch at Red Robin it is really nice to have someone who shares the same interest to spend time with. Today I just did yard work and had a nice dinner for my son and his family. I figured I better enjoy and play cause the next couple of months are going to be pretty busy. Our offer was accepted on the big house so will be moving in about the 6th of June, then I need to get this house ready to rent out. I am really excited about the move and will share pictures with you.

My first Tilda Stamp

Hi there thanks for stopping by ....can you believe it is already the end of April ! I tell you time just flies these days. Today for our challenge we are using the first stamp we bought or a stamp we would not part with. I just fell in love with these little Tilda images 2 years ago. I am not sure what it was but they stole my heart and have continued to just bring a smile to my heart with each new collection. I know when I joined the Magnolia-licious yahoo group and I saw all the amazing cards from the gals there it was my dream to be on one of those DT's someday. I even had the nerve to apply about 3 months later LOL, you should see some of those cards I thought were all that ! I need to say a special thanks to Suzanne Dean, Sharon Caudle, and Barb Hardman for all the encouraging words you gave me you will always have a special place in my heart. I ordered my frist Tilda's from Joanna Sheen...I have no idea what she is called except cute ! I even remember telling my good friend I am just going to get a few of those copics almost 200 markers later, I think I have all I really need, now I am working on refills....

"Admit Two"

TGIF .... do you have any special plans for the weekend? Not much planned here as I will be working....this is the first Easter I have worked in about 5 years and I am not real happy about it but hey we do what we have to do !
I just love this little card I knew exactly what I was going to do with it when I saw this image....The name of this image is "Movie Date" from Karen's Doodles. I rec'd this in an image swap and just fell in love ! I made this card for my Son and Daughter-in-law for their 16th anniversary, which was on St. Patrick's day. This is so them as they make sure to go to the movies and dinner each and every year for their special day. My image is on Cryogen white paper, and colored with copics I did not write them down....my papers are scraps that were just laying around. I tried the Zig Zag stitch this time and really liked it. Thats it for me this time....have a great Easter Weekend !

Happy Friday to you all, I hope you have had a great week ! I have had a really nice week, the weather is just perfect here in AZ at this time of year and it has just been a peaceful week for me and I am grateful for that. It is time for another challenge at the CMC Copic Challenge group and this time we want to see those pastels and what a perfect time of year for those colors.

I have masked this sweet little Brother and Sister image(Cozy Autumn collection) with the Stone Path(Butterfly Dreams collection) the sentiment is also from the Butterfly Dreams collection. I have also used the Antique Lace Doohickey cutting die. My images are colored with copics, I have added stickles to her little slip, pocket and socks. I added some walnut stain DI to the shadowing of the stones for more depth and glossy accents on the stones for the rock like shine. I added some flower soft to the fowers and the little butterfiles are actually at MS border punch that I cut out, colored them with my copics and added some stickles. I have colored my sky with Distress Inks.

Hi there happy Sunday everyone I hope you have had a great weekend...I had an amazing weekend ! I have spent the whole weekend with Suzanne Dean and some great friends it just does not get better than that...if you see that Suzanne is coming to your area do yourself a favor and take her classes you will have lots of fun and she is a wealth of knowledge, and a real sweet lady ! Speaking of Suzanne and her classes we have a new challenge going on at the CMC Copic Challenge Group and this time it is all about "Metallics" Color an image that has something metallic in it! Make it steel, tin, gold, copper, etc! If you don't have an image with metal in it, than make clothing or accessory images metallic! Come on over join in the fun !

I have used a little bucket that I got from my Sis...thanks so much ♥ I have perched Tilda with Big ribbon up on it you can find her at at 7 kids college fund. Tilda is colored with copics, her dress is done in R24, 27, 29...the bucket is C1,2,3,5 and 7. Skin is E00, 000 and I forgot the hair #'s sorry. I have added stardust stickles to her bow, socks and lace also the little flowers on the bucket. My papers are digital from Aimee Asher...the artist is Bette Duganitz her "Denim and Scarlett" collection. The scalloped oval is cut from my wishblade. I have cut the bucket out and popped it up for deminsion. Buttons, flowers, ribbons and charms all from my stash. I used the sketch from Wild Orchid Challenge blog. Here is a side view.

Happy Saturday .... I hope you have had a good week, mine has been very relaxing for the most part as I have been on vacation....as you are reading this I in the the Sand Dunes in Yuma for a weekend of fun in the sun and sand. We have rented a toy hauler, loaded up all the toys and off we go ! Families that play together stay together and we play alot !

Happy Tuesday to you all, I hope you are having a good start to your week...mine is going well I spent most of Monday running around with my new little DGS and I am on vacation so what more could a gal ask for ?

It is a special day today as we are celebrating the 1st birthday of the Color Me Creative Classrooms and Challenges ! There are so many fun and exciting things going on there this week you can check them out right here. In honor of this special day my little "Birthday Tilda" is bringing the cake, you can find this little cutie here. I had so much fun making this card as I was enjoying a special day at my friend Gails house....Thanks sweeetie for the great time and putting up with all my silly questions ! My image is stamped on Xpress-It copic blending paper and colored with copics. I am sorry I did not keep track of all the colors I can tell you I used the V12, 15, 17 and her shoes are YR18..we were snickering because without trying too I used PHX Suns basketball colors and I live in Phx ! I always use E000, E00 and R20 for my skin. I cut Tilda out and popped her up on pop up dots. DP's are from the Paper Studio and the cardstock is Bazzill. The little cupcakes are a punch with glitter and microbeads on them. I have stickles to her cake, lace slip and socks every little girl must have glitter ! The border is a MS border punch. How sweet is this ?

You can say I am a proud Grandma for sure ! This is my firstborn granddaughter Alyssa who will be 16 this year, and my newest little grandson Blake. Blake was born on March 9th and 8:40am, he weighed 9lbs 6.5oz was 20 inches long....needless to say he does not need newborn clothes. He was a scheduled C-section, they are home as of today and everyone is doing great. Blake is 2 years and 4 days younger than his big brother Tyler, who really just does not care to have anything to do with Blake just yet...I think he is mad is mama was gone for 4 days LOL it was the first time he had been away from her ever....

I am so excited !

Did you notice my sidebar ? Yep I am doing the happy dance here I was honored to be a part of the frist DT for the CMC Copic Challenge group. Do you know how hard it was to keep this little secret? Since I have first started coloring I thought how much fun would that be to be on a DT.....and now look I am a part of one with Suzanne Dean...could somebody pinch me ! Suzanne has been a big inspiration for me and amazing teacher on learning to use copics markers. I am so excited she is coming to AZ on April 2, and I will be hanging out all day in both classes with lots of ladies learning all the tricks of the trade and having fun. If you have not been to Suzanne's blog or watched any of her coloring videos you are missing out. She also has some great copic classes at the Color Me Creative classroom.

So much has been going on here lately.... baby shower this afternoon, youngest DGS 2nd birthay next Sat. and trying to get everything organized for the basketball banquet this coming Friday, I do think we are ready to roll now everything is basically done except for the decorating and we will do that on Friday afternoon. It is so much fun being a part of the Booster Club. I was honored to be aksed to make the graduating seniors on the Varsity Team a scrapbook page. Now you know I can't do that without making one for my granddaughter who is on the Freshman team, however she did warm up with the varsity and played with JV this season...she is a excellent basketball player that puts in heart and soul into her games, she scores a good majority of the points in most games. I am so proud of the young lady she is and can't wait to see where her goals and dreams are going to take her !

Alyssa's girlfriend, played on the JV team went sledding this winter and had a little accident with a tree which put her on the bench for the rest of the season ....so I had to put a little humor in this layout !

yes that is my youngest DGD sitting with her .... who now plays basketball as well on a city league ! Thanks for taking the time to peek into my world this morning !

Adorable Joy

Happy Friday to ya ! Can you believe we are half way through Feb, holy cow time just flies these days ! I thought things would be slowing down but that does not seem to be the plan in my life. My oldest DGD is having her Basketball banquet on March 4th and I have said I would make the seniors on the team a scrapbook page there are only 5 of them so that is not to bad plus I will make one for my DGD and her good friend, plus getting other things and gifts together for all the teams, Freshman, JV, and Varsity. So now you know what I will be working on for a little bit. Not to mention I have a baby shower for #6 grandson Sun the 27th and then March 5th is my youngest DGS 2nd birthday ! I tell you I will really be ready for my vacation for Spring break.

It is inventory challenge #19 this time we were to use lace and ribbon....I used the new antique lace doohickey die from Mangolia-licious, with a little bow on top! I just love this little image she is a Sugar Nellie digital image from Funky Kits, her name is "Joy Sitting". I have followed the sketch and color challenge #53 from the Sugar Bowl. She was printed on xpress-it blending card stock by copic if you have not tried this paper you are missing out I love it. My image is colored with copics and I used a couple of prismacolor pencils to shade and add depth. My DP's are from KC & co they are a stack I have had for years. I have used kraft cardstock as my base and to back my image. The flower is the doily flower doohickey die from Magnolia-licous, on which I added some shimmerz and curled the edges. I used diamond stickles on her bow and apple. Little blue pearls are from my stash too. Hi there and a happy Friday to you ! I hope you have had a good week, I can't complain life is good here. Do you all have any plans for the weekend...I will be watching my youngest DGD play basketball Sat. morning, hanging out with my son and his family all day and then we are all going to dinner that evening for Valentine's day.

Well on to the reason you are here my card....yep we are still using up the inventory on hand. This week we are bringing on the layers, my card has 7 not including the card base. I have followed the sketch at Midnight Madness MMSC#90. Over at the CMC Copic Challenge group, our challenge was to color something with flowers and use different techniques and or color schemes. I have used the feathering technique for the flowers and have added stickles to the center. My DP's were a gift from my Sis they are DCWV "Once upon a Time" mat stack. The solids are DCWV also.

It's Friday and that means another inventory challenge.... this week we were asked to make a Tag Card with some distressing. You can find the directions for these cute cards by Tiets here. My base piece of the card was 4.75 x 11 scored at 5.25. My image is called "The Little Things" by LOTV they have the cutest images, so I had to break down and get a few...good thing we are able to buy stamps, copics and refills ! The little sentiment comes with the image. I have colored my image with copics and shaded them with Distress Ink. I have added some stickles to the flowers and the ribbon. I followed some of the colors that the very talented Bev listed when she colored her image, if you have not seen her work you are missing out. My papers are from Nitwits. I have used the swirl doohickey die from Magnolia-licious. Flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. Be sure to stop by and see what my team mates Christina, Danielle, Rene and Sandy have come up with. Hi there... It's Friday, time for another use up the inventory challenge #16. This weeks theme is "Hey good lookin, whatcha got cookin", I figured this little kit that I had from a swap fit right in perfectly. This is "Baking Tilda" and I don't see her in stock right now but I am sure if you email Diana at Magnolia-licious she will see what she can do. I have used the Swirl Doohickey cutting die that you can get at Magnolia-licious also....I have to say I am really please at how well this cut. I have used Bazzill for my mat, the heart print paper is from Nitwits. The cooking paper and the brown backing are from my kit so I have no idea what they are...except cute ! Tilda is colored with copics, with stardust stickles added to her socks, wings, cookies and hair ribbon. I have shaded her with Distress Ink. The little sentiment is from LOTV. You put the SUN in Sunflower

Happy Monday and a beautiful one it is here in AZ......upper 60's and sunny what more could you ask for in January. I have a couple of much needed days off I tell you it is just go go go around here, sometimes I wonder how I have time to work ! I had my little pup fixed this past Friday so I have been keeping a close eye on him so we have been in the craft room a good majority of the day. Tomorrow afternoon it is DGD's basketball game clear on the other side of town.

For my card today I have followed the sketch at Just Magnolia by Donalda. My image is Tilda holding an Sunflower, and a little bee that is also from Magnolia, I don't see them in stock right now at Magnolia-licious but I am sure if you contact Diana she can help you out. Have you checked out the new Mini Maggies they are just adorable. At Magnolia-licious Highlites they wanted us to do a recipe challenge:*4 Flowers*3 types of patterned paper *2 Magnolia images (any image by Magnolia qualifies/ ie. accessory, background, tilda/edwin, animal, sentiment, etc.)*1 Ribbon. My background papers are from Nitwits. The corners are the 3rd part of the papers as well as the 4 flowers and are from Laurie Furnell. Sentiment is computer generated. At the Magnolia-licious Challeng blog, Cabio has given us a color challenge to use green and orange. And last but by no means least at 7kids College Fund they wanted us to challenge ourself...I challenged myself to color in the grass something I have never done and need more work on :) My images are colored with copics. I have added glossy accents to her shoes, and stickles throughout for bling, The sunflower and bee have fun flock on them for depth. The sky was done with chalk. Lace is from my stash.

Happy Friday to you ! Hope you have had a good week....mine was a little hectic in the beginning but has settled down...seems like it is just go go go all the time ! It is that time again when we are using up our inventory and this time I used a card kit I rec'd from a swap on SCS...thanks Linda ! I have no idea of the name of this little Tilda but she sure is cute. I have colored her with copics and shaded with Distress Inks. I added stickles to her hat ribbon, purse, collar and hair ribbons. Inventory Challenge #13

TGIF oh my goodness are you ready for this weekend? I am so ready for this week to be done. My card today is really using up the inventory I have on hand....I have had this image colored since I don't know when and thought I may as well use her in a card. She is a Sarah Kay image...I believe her name is "Zoe gazing at the butterfly" she is just so relaxed and peaceful looking. You can pick her up from Tab @ 7 kids college fund. This week Chirstina wanted us to use 4 flowers, 2 ribbons and 4 different patterned layers. Be sure to stop by Christina's, and Danielle's blog to see the awesome creations they are come up with. Rene may be back with us this week. My papers are from My minds Eye, the bella bella collection. I have colored my image with copics. I have stickles to her flowers in the basket and the little butterfly, her hair ribbon and hat ribbon have glossy accents for the silk shine ! I used my Nestabilities labels 4 to cut her out. Ribbon, lace and charm are from my stash. Roses are from Wild Orchid Crafts. The little sentiment came from Create with TLC where my good friend Sharron is a new member on the DT ! Congrats Sis I am so happy for you ♥

Inventory challenge #12

Happy New Years Eve everyone be safe whatever you are doing ! I think I will just be staying home or going over to my son's playing Wii ! This past year has been a pretty good year for us we had a few challenges but what family doesn't. I have had a great time with all my blogging buddies and I have learned so much from you all thanks for all the inspiration.

Christina, Danielle and I are still using up our inventory nothing new for us till summer..Be sure to stop by their blogs to see the beautiful creations they are come up with. I am so glad this does not include copics or refills and I need to place an order real soon.

My project I am sharing today was a gift for a friend...it is an altered journal from the $1.00 bin at Michaels that I have had in my closet for a few years :) I have one that a friend made for me and it is something I use daily. On the front of the book I have used 2 maggie stamps the open gate and Tilda holding a broom and I just cut the broom off. The border of the page is graphics from Laurie Furnell, I have added stickles for some pop.

The inside cover is graphics, and on the divider page I have used Longing Tilda.

The next page is with Tilda with 3 tulips I think, and then I used this funny lady from a senior graphic for the back cover. My friend who I made this for I met on another board where all we used were graphics and we have stayed in touch so I combined the old and the new !

All of my images are colored with copics. You can purchase all you Tildas from Magnolia-licous and don't forget now you can get the minis Tildas which are so much fun !

Good Friday morning to you all.... thanks for coming by ! Please stop by and see what the lovely Christina and Danielle have created as well as we continue to use what we have on hand. My card today was so fun to make. I followed the sketch from Midnight Madness MMSC83. I have used "Secret Tilda" the mini is in stock at Magnolia-licious but I am sure if you contact Diana she will have the bigger one as soon as she can.. My image is stamped on Cryogen White, and colored with copics. I cut the snowflake which is 3 layers with my wishblade. I used the snowflake embossing folder. I have added stickles to the snowflakeand to Tildas little socks, present and hair ribbon. The present ribbon has glossy accents on it to give the look of satin. Ribbons from my stash.

Happy Saturday to you....and a fine Saturday it is as I am off work and just waiting for my DIL and the kids to come over and we are baking today, no diets in this family at this time of year ! We went looking at Christmas lights last night and to Glendale Glitters it was a beautiful night all the kids had a great time especially my youngest DGS who will be two in March he would just squeel and jabber and the Santa would roll out of his little mouth :) It has just been crazy around here between work, Christmas shopping and a new puppy this is the first time in a few weeks I have actually sat down and did some coloring. I have some things colored up so now I can just put them together this week in between wrapping.

Each year since I have started crafting I make ornaments for my family so here is a quick for you, I just love this Tilda she is "Longing Tilda" and can be used for so many different things. She is from the fairytale collection and is in stock now at Magnolia-licious I picked up these joy ornaments in the dollar bin in one of my shopping trips.

Suzannes' Blog Candy Fundraiser

Suzanne Dean is having a fundraiser on her blog for a WONDERFUL CHARITY called the FISHER HOUSE FOUNDATION (read about them here)! They build, operate and supply homes around the US for military families to stay in while their loved ones are in the hospital or in rehabilitation. We are so lucky to have the military support that we do in this country and they SACRIFICE the most precious gift of their LIFE everyday to defend and protect us. It's easy to go about our daily lives and forget what our troops are doing, but in some small way I'd like us crafters to join together to give back to them this month!! I think it's so important to give back to them and support them in any way we can especially during the holiday season and this charity does so much fabulous work with military families and taking care of them in their time of need, you can't put a value on the gift of love and support!

Flying Angel Tilda

Good Morning Happy Thursday to you. I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving and was able to spend some time with family and friends enjoying each other. I have had a great week I have been off work so I got lots of things done and just really enjoyed the time with my grandkids. I bought the Wii and we played all weekend I can see many hours of family game time which will be awesome...heck even the biggest kid was having fun LOL.

My little project for today is a Christmas ornament, I saw this style last year on Suzanne Deans blog if you have never been there you are really missing out. I cut my scalloped backing with my wishblade and the center circle as well, I ran the center through the cuttlebug snowflakes embossing folder. Little Tilda is stamped on cryogen white and colored with copics she is popped up and has some snow flock in the little globe so she is flying in the snow. Papers are from my stash and so is the little ribbons. The little things I am using as a snow globe are little party favor things and I can't remember where I got them I just trimmed them to fit. I have added silver stickles to the edge. Flying angel Tilda is part of the new Christmas collection, you can get here from Diana, and don't foget about those little minis you are able to order now they are so much fun to create with.

Happy Thanksgiving to you !

I would like to wish each of my blogging buddies here in the US a very "Happy Thanksgiving" and to those of you not celebrating today please have a great day as well. I am so blessed to have each of you as a part of my life. Today I will be spending the day with my family at my oldest son's home ! They are such a giving couple as they are opening their home to all of those they know with no family here or a place to go, they did this when they were in the military as well. So I would ask each of you to just reflect today on the blessings you have in your life, and really look inside to see all the little things we take for granted and shouldn't.

I also wanted to share the new little man that is in my life....Phillip and Kimmy picked him up for me this past week....not real sure what he is just AKC Mutt :) No his eyes are not blue but could not get it fixed.

Snowy says "Merry Christmas"

It's Friday can you believe that it is here already.... I tell you the days are just flying by, it is hard to believe that Thanksgiving is next Thursday. I have been working hard on getting my Christmas cards done, and using up all those pieces laying around or the things I have on hand...a few of us are on a mission not to buy anything new until summer, now that does not include ink, paper to stamp on etc. I had this little image colored and was trying to decide what to do with her...Snowy is a girl today :) and I knew I wanted to do a mostly white card. I was looking at the challenge blogs I say this cute sketch on Cute Card Thursday and one of the DT gals Annie had use the embossed snowflake folder on hers so I thought oh my that is perfect for my little Snowy, so here is my take on the sketch. My image is stamped on Cryogen white cardstock, colored with copics. Flowers are from Wild Orchid crafts. Snowys ear muffs have fun flock on them and her bells have glossy accents. Happy Monday to you all I hope you had a nice weekend.....My card today is for the Magnolia-licious Group they have a new challenge blog where the first challenge is a color challenge...pink and yellow this is not a combo I usually use so this took me out of my comfort zone a little but I am happy with the end result. I combined it with the Magnolia-lcious Highlites Nov. Monthly challenge where we were to make a shaker card. I cut my card and all the layers with on my wishblade, ran the base through the cuttlebug, "Snowflakes" embossing folder then went over the embossing with a light pink chalk. The next layer raised for dimension a with the acetate shaker box in-between. The DP is Basic Grey from the Porcelain collection 6x6 pad. I have used the new little mini "Tilda in the winter night" she is colored with copics and I have added fun flock to her coat, glossy accents to her shoes and stickles for the lantern. The little snowflakes are from my stash.

For the inside of my card I have used 2 of the Pine Trees colored with copics with puff paint and stickles for dimension. Another little mini "Starlight Tilda" from the winter collection, perched on the snowy hill colored with copics with stickles on her wings and star. I chalked my card base in blue, and then added puff paint for the snow edge and then filled in with fun flock. My sentiment is from a little dollar bin clear stamp. All of the stamps I used can be purchased here from Diana. I hope you enjoyed my little card as I had so much fun putting this together.

Good Friday morning, thanks for stopping by. This is week 5 in our "Use up your inventory challenge" where this week we are using scraps and pieces. I rec'd this cute little hAnglar image in a mingle card...thanks Lone I love her. She is stamped on X-Press It Copic paper and I have to tell you this is my new favorite paper even over Cryogen White. This cardstock is a dream to color on and you can get this paper from Diana at Magnolia-licous. The DP are from Basic Grey Eskimo Kisses 6x6 pad. I have machine stitched all layer except the image. Ribbon, buttons, snowflake metal holiday brad are all from my stash. Senitment stamp is a Studio G little clear stamp. My image is colored with copics. I have added "Polar White" flower soft to her scarf and "Diamond: stickles to her wings. I have followed the sketch from this past week at Friday Sketcher's.

Tilda sings "White Christmas"

Happy Friday ...wow the time is just flying these days ! Can you believe there are only like 50 days until Christmas...yikes and I have not bought anything yet to speak of.
Friday means another card done for the use up my inventory challenge with my blogging buddies, Christine, Danielle and Rene so be sure to visit their blogs and see the beautiful cards they have created you will not be disappointed. This week our challenge was ribbons and bows. For my card I have used this cute little "Tilda singing Christmas Carols". The DP's, image and thick grosgrain riboons are all from a card kit I rec'd from Anglea in a swap at SCS. The fancy edge frame I cut with my wishblade and the little red polka dot ribbon is from my stash. My image is colored with copics. I added puff paint to her jacket edge and hat. Stickles for her wings and her little winter stockings. I put some glossy accents on her boots, and some flower soft on the bottom for the snow.

In the early afternoon/evening I will be heading over to my other son's with my little monster to enjoy an evening of trick or treating with the little ones and then just hanging out around the fire pit eating some chili an fritos !

I made this little card as part of the inventory challenge I have joined with my blogging buddies Christine ,Danielle and Rene so please stop by and see the beautiful cards they have made ...we are to have layers and lace this week, and I have had this paper lace from Basic Grays Eskimo kisses forever. My card has 3 layers, cardstock is just bulk from Michael's recollections pack. DP is BG also Eskimo kisses. My flower is from Wild Orchid crafts and the little sentiment is from the $1 bin at Michaels I think. My image is colored with copics and I have added stickles to her jacket and wings and flower soft to the jackets edge. I put the little rhinestones on the edge for some color and bling. I made this little easel card template up and cut it on my wishblade as I don't have a scalloped edge Nestie so I had to make do with what I do have. I just love these little Hanglar images. I have no idea what her name is sorry.

Hi there thanks for stopping by, I hope you are finding some time to create and relax ! That is exactly what I did today after running some errands this morning....it was a cloudy, breezy day perfect to just stay home and enjoy the day. I have had this little guy colored for some time now...isn't he just the cutest little snowman with his feathered friend stopping by to say hi ! My image is colored with copics, the card base is Kraft, the DP is from Close to My Heart...thanks Robyn ! The snowflakes are a MS punch, the flowers are from Wild Orchid crafts, and the tag was from my stash which I am on a mission to use up as much as I can between now and summer. The sketch I used is from Friday sketchers last week.

I have added some stickles to the holly berries on his hat and the little snowflakes.

Little Cutie

Happy Sunday to you ! Well it has been a great vacation and it is back to work tomorrow....I think I am actually ready to go back this time, which is not usually the case. I had some time last night so I did a little coloring and put this little card together and I think this little Tilda as a witch holding the broom is just to cute. I have follwed the sketch at Midnight Madness MMSC75. My image is stamped on Cryogen White cardstock and colored with copics, and shaded with black soot distress ink. The DP is from BG Erie collection which is one of my favorites ! The swirls are cut with my wishblade. Flowers, bat, twine etc. all from my stash. I have challenged myself to not buy anything new until next summer except printer ink, cardstock to stamp on, or refills for my copics as needed. I have way to much and need to just use what I have, so thanks Christine for this awesome challenge. I have added black stickles all around the edge of the card and on the swirl for some glitz ! Tilda's blouse, bows in her hair, hat band and lace under her dress have been stickled. I don't know about you but my cards need some glitter !

A Scary Night !

Happy Friday to you all ! It has been a great week and a half for me. My family was at Disney for 3 days on the last day my good friend Sharron joined us, we had a blast playing at Disney and then we went to her house for 4 days of laughing, crafting, shopping, eating etc. Can't wait till the next time Sis :) While I was there I put together this little paper bag book for the Magnolia-licious challenge for Oct. My little book is made from 2 brown paper bags, which I sprayed with Charcoal glimmer mist from Tattered Angels. The images on the front are Brother and Sister Tilda #334, and the moon from the So Spooky collection you can get all your Maggie needs from Diana here . I have used the MS picket fence punch and the little kitty and Boo are from Laurie Furnell. I have added stickles to the moon, sentiment and her dress for bling. All images are colored with copics.

This cute little mummy is also from Laurie furnell I just love his little shorts and eyes :)

I am not sure of this cute little witch Tilda's name as I rec'd her as a gift from a dear friend thanks Linda. I have colored her with copics and then shaded her with walnut stain distress ink, this technique is one I learned from the very talented Angie. I think she came out very good IMHO (blushing here)

This is the last page with Tilda holding the pumpkin. The picture frame is from Laurie as well. This years Halloween pictures of my grandkids are going in here and I am going to give it to my DIL to put up for them in years to come.

Yippe TGIF and it is an extra special Friday for me as we are celebrating my DGD's 15th birthday......yikes where does the time go, holy cow seems like just yesterday she was this cute little daddy's girl standing on the love seat waiting to see his car pull in from work and she would holler "D D D" and he would come in and say "A" as her name is Alyssa.
♥ Happy Birthday Princess you will always be my special angel ♥

This little card is just to appropriate for her. This is a Mo's Digital image "Dani and Friends" and Alyssa's best friends name is Dani and this so looks like the 2 of them. Alyssa does not like lots of frills as she calls it so her are cards pretty clean and simple. I have followed the sketch over at Midnight Madness MMSC73.

My image is colored with copics. All papers are digital. This is another one of those cards made from everything in the craft room no purchase necessary and if you would see this craft room you would understand why I am trying to use things on hand KWIM ! I cut the backs off the little black flower brads and just glued them on I like that better that holes in the card.
The black and pink background are raised, and the image is also raised with pop up dots for depth, and the the flowers have 3 layers for the 3D effect.

Good Sunday evening, hope you had a great weekend ! I did got a few thing accomplished on the old to do list and still had time to play :) I made this little card for a challenge that Suzanne Dean gave us on the CMC Copic Challenge group. The challenge was to color a "Monochromatic image and copics must be used. My image is "Fall Birgitta" and she is colored using E30's, E50's, E9 and E43 on Cryogen White cardstock.

I have followed the sketch #121 at Friday Sketchers. The DP's are Cosmo Cricket, the Autumn line which I have had in my stash for a couple of years. My flower is handmade you can find instructions @ SCS for the fan fold flower. I am going to enter this into a few little challenges,

It's a Girl thing

Good Tuesday afternoon to you all ! I tell you I thought things were cooling down around here but holy cow we have had some record heat the past few days 111 on Sunday, and 107 yesterday..hopefully this will be the last of the heat and we will get into the 90's ! This is a busy time for me between work, grand kids sports, and planning a vacation for early next month ! So I took a little time to just play in my craft room. For my little set I have followed the sketch at Friday Sketchers #120 . My little image is "Farewell Tilda" and she is out of stock right now but I am sure Diana will have her back real soon. I have colored my image with copics, I have added stickles to her hankie and the bottom of her little dress. Her little boots have liquid embossing on them for the shine of leather. I made this little set for the challenge at Magnolia-licious Highlites where they wanted us to use an image from the new "Bon Voyage" collection and make either a little suitcase or backpack. I thought the little backpack was to cute and perfect for a sweet little girl just going to school, you can find the instructions here. I have raised the scalloped circle and Tilda for depth.

Best Witches !

Good Monday evening to you all, I hope you are had a wonderful weekend ! The weather here has just been awesome, so much so I have had my AC off at night with morning temps in the low 70's ....gotta love when fall is in the air. Fall also means the holidays are just around the corner, I don't know about you but I love the holidays all of them. One of my favorite artists "Laurie Furnell" is now making stamps this is one of her images it is called "Witchie Poo and kitty". I have used Laurie's art many times when I did not color and loved them, so with this image I tried to color as close to her original as I could and I think it came out really cute.
I followed sketch #119 at Friday Sketchers . My image is colored with copics, papers are digital from some of Laurie's clip art sets. I added stickles to her collar, stars and the moons.

Hi there, happy Tuesday to you all...I hope you had a nice long weekend doing something you enjoy. I worked and then went to my son's for a BBQ and just spent time enjoying all the grand kids. I found some time today to color and put this little card together, which was very relaxing.... Suzanne Dean has a little color challenge going on where she want at least 3 shades of blue used on an image of clothing etc., I used B91,93,95,97 for Tilda's jeans, I then took my colorless blender solution and put some on a rag, dabbed it on the pants for a denim look and then used the colorless blender pen to get the center light source high-light.
For my card today I followed the sketch #47 at Papertake Weekly, I am also entering this into a few more challenges.
Pile It On - wants layers...there are 10 layers on this card.
Stamp Something - wants something Cute....all Tilda's are cute IMHO :)
Just Magnolia Special Monthly Challenge - anything goes

Walkin in a Winter Wonderland !

Hi there can you believe it is the 25th of Aug. already.....where has this year went? I tell you the years seem to go by quicker every year! Welcome to another Magnolia-licious Christmas All Year Long Blog hop. If you arrived here from Carole then you are on the right path, if you just happened to stop by and see me you may want to start at the beginning so you don't miss out on any of the great creations. I really enjoyed making this card I have used the image "Sideways Tilda with Lantern" and "Three Christmas Pines" they are both colored with copics. I don't see the trees but you can get Tilda from Diana here. The trees are a really big stamp so I cut one of them off. I have added stickles and scribbles 3D paint to the trees. DP is Cosmo Cricket, "Be good: Believe" Lace up pieces are cut with the wishblade. Ribbons, brads, snowflakes and gems all from my stash ! I have used flower soft for the snow below the trees. I used chalk for the sky. Tilda has fun flock on her hat, glossy accents on her lantern and Stickles on her wings, she is popped up for dimension.

Hi there and happy Tuesday to you all. I hope you are having an enjoyable day, I had a very relaxing and enjoyable day. It is very hot and muggy here in AZ very unusual for us...I think this has been the most humid summer I have experienced in my 14 years here, so I did what I needed to do early and spent the day in the nice cool house putting this little card together. I just love this little Tilda, this is my first time using this stamp which my dear friend Gail shared with me :) I believe she is called "Love News Tilda" and I don't see her but I am sure you can contact Diana and she can help you out. I have followed the sketch at Midnight Madness MMSC67 My image is colored with copics. The DP is basic gray "Porcelain" collection. I really enjoyed making this little gal ! I will be entering her into a few other little challenges.

Happy Sunday to you all ! I sure hope you have had a nice weekend I have had a fantastic week as I was on vacation. I went to San Diego where I was born and raised and spent some time with my Godmother who is 87. The weather was just perfect so we were out and about the whole time I was there, I was acting like a tourist LOL ! Today being my last day of vacation I put together this little "Ballerina Tilda" she is one of my favorites for sure. I have colored her with copics, and then added stickles to her dress bodice and tiara. The pink background paper is "Bittersweet" form basic gray. The flourishes and matching paper backing Tilda (for some reason are showing as a black they are actually dark brown with white polka dots) is also basic gray from the "Porcelain" line. The band running in the back is from a glitter stack in my stash. The flourishes were cut with my wisblade.
I am entering my card into a few challenges....

Happy Sunday to you all, I hope you have had a great weekend ! Here in my little spot in the desert we have been getting rained on for most of this past week and I am so loving it we need it so bad and the temps are in the 80's and that is a good thing too :)

Over at Magnolia-licious Highlites they had a little Nautical Themed challenge which ends today so I had this little Mermaid Tilda she is an older one I rec'd in an image swap so I thought I would color her up. She is colored with copics. I colored the rock she is on with distress ink, and also shaded her fin with it. This is the first time I have tried this and I think it came out ok.
My papers are digital and are from Aimee Asher a set call "Playful Fish" I think it is really cute.
There are 3 layers to the card, Tilda is also raised for depth.

I hope you enjoyed my little Nautical Gal.

Happy Saturday to you all, hope your weekend is going well. Mine is great as I am actually off all weekend. We are having some just horribly hot weather here in AZ, and the monsoons should be rolling in any day :) I love summer thunder storms. I spent the majority of my day in my craft room working on some Christmas in July goodies and making this little card.

Magnolia-licious Highlites challenged us to make a "free standing pop up card" you can find the directions for this card style here.
Totally Tilda a new challenge blog wants "Chocolate" now what girl does not like chocolate :)
Just Magnolia has a Recipe: 3 flowers, 2 papers and 1 ribbon. (there is 3 flowers if you count the one in her hand)
The TownScrapper wanted monochromatic.
Hanna and Friends wanted unused stamps.

I have used "Lady Tilda #382" from Fairytale collection, and you can get her right here from Diana. I have colored my image with copics, I used the E00's, E30's, and E50's with a little of YG91 for the leaves on the flower and her headband is E08, E09, she is stamped on Cryogen white, cut out and raised for dimension. I cut the background tag and the design behind Tilda with my wishblade. My flowers are from "Wild Orchid Crafts." and I added some brown to them with my E37 copic. Ribbon is from my stash and the bow is made with the "Bow Easy" I have used walnut stain distress ink on the sides, and stickles on her flower.

Hi there, thanks for stopping by ! Can you believe tomorrow is July 1st already this year is just flying by. Do you all have any big plans for the holiday weekend? I am working and then going to my son's for a big 4th of July pool party and barbecue, should be lots of fun with all the grand kids playing and having fun. I made my little wall hanging for a dear friend who is very patriotic, I sure hope she will enjoy her hanging in her craft room. I am not sure of the name of this image and I did not see her in Diana's store. I have colored her with copics. Before I started stamping I did lots of crafting with graphics so I used the background, banner, and the little drum Tilda is sitting on from the collection "God, Family and Country" by Susan Seals.

Unwrapped Tilda, Christmas All Year Long, MMSC59, MDU51, and Bunny Zoe's

It is that time of the month again when we are having our Magnolia-licious Christmas All Year Long Blog Hop so if you get lost or have just happened to stop by here you may want to go back and start at the beginning so you don't miss any of the great creations. If you came here from Julie's you are on the right track. I was not sure if I would be doing this hop this month, as I lost my dog of 8 years who was just like my child and I loved her with all my heart. Each day gets a little easier and we spent many hours together in the craft room :)

I have used Unwrapped Tilda #3002 and she is currently out of stock however if you email Diana @ Magnolia-licious I am sure she will get some in shortly. I have followed the sketch over at Midnight Madness MMSC59 the fancy version. Over at Magnolia down Under they want embossing. At Bunny Zoe's they want "Nice and Girly" I used the snowflakes folder for my embossing. My image is stamped on Cryogen White, colored with copics...sorry I did not keep track as this image has been colored for a couple of weeks. The DP is Imaginisce, Polar Expressions, card stock is from my stash, there is 6 layers to this card. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. The branch is a MS punch and the pearls are from Say it with Pearls. I have added some Diamond Stickles to Tilda and the flowers for a little extra bling ! Here is a close up to see the detail a little better.

Happy Thursday everyone ! This week is going pretty fast for me lots going on, had my oldest DGD basketball game last night they lost but they played their hearts out and had fun that is all that matters. This weekend is jam packed for me going to Wet'n Wild on Sat suppose to be 108 so that will be great and then to finish off this glorious weekend my youngest DGD will have her 5th birthday party so lots of fun here.....sure hope you have some fun things going on....summer is just a time for lots of family fun :)

Speaking of fun there is a party going on at Magnolia-licious as they celebrate turning 2 years of fun ! Drop on by and join in. This week is a great sketch from Chris one of the mods on the Magnolia-licious Yahoo group. I have to say that the ladies that run this group to an outstanding job to keep everything going smooth and fun. My sincere thanks to each and everyone of you for all you do each day for our group.

I have colored my image with copics sorry I forgot to keep track of them. I added "Sweet Pea" flower soft to Tilda's bouquet. I used fun flock for the bike handle grips and added liquid embossing to the bike to give the metal shine and look.
The DP is Doodle Bug designs and it is machine stitched to DCWV card stock. I paper pieced her little T-shirt to match the DP on the card. I used my wishblade to cut out my oval frame. I embossed the oval background with the cuttlebug. Ribbon is from my stash and I used the bow easy to make my bow. I added my sentiment in the charm that is attached which says "Made with love". I have raised Tilda on pop up dots for dimension and to make it look as if she is coming out of the frame.

That's it for me today, I gotta go fix DGD breakfast and then we are having a girl day with movies and shopping !

Summer Days !

Wow I can't believe I did 2 cards in two days.....you know I am enjoying my days off ! This little card is made from a kit that I got from a swap on SCS...thanks Lena I love it ! This was just perfect for the challenge given by Suzanne Dean to create a summer themed card, the images must be colored with Copics and color at least one embellishment with Copics.
My embellishment colored with Copics is the wooden stir stick that Edwin is standing on I colored it using E33.
The images used are Surf Edwin #136, and the Pier Fence #615 both of these images are in stock and you can get them here from Diana.
I have followed the sketch at Papertake Weekly sketch #41. I am also entering at Magnolia Stamp Lovers challenge #11 where they want Summer.
Over at Quixotic they want to see embossing in any form so I have liquid embossed Edwin's hair, his surfboard, the life raft and the water.
At Challenge up your life they want us to recycling...I used a coffee stir stick for Edwin to stand on.
Just Magnolia #57 is Hot n Spicy = Summer for me especially here in AZ !

The Corrosive Challenge is clean and simple

The raffia for the bow and the sentiment are from my stash.

I used cat eye chalk inks to give the light blue tint to the sky.

Hi happy Thursday to you...are you all getting ready for the long weekend? The weather here in AZ has just been beautiful. Last night was a very special night for me as I watched my oldest DGD walk in her 8th grade promotion.....holy cow where has the time went she is just growing up so fast. I am so proud of her she is a determined young lady with lots of goals for her future....she wants to be a doctor ! I made this little card for her and she is very specific that she does not like lots of fluff, ribbon etc. on the things I make her :) so this is what I came up with for her.

My images is sitting Sugar Nellie and I just love these little stamps, she is embossed. The copics I used are E000, E00 for the skin, R20 for her cheeks, RV02,04,06 for her dress, RV02, 04 for her stockings with stickles added for bling and the flower in her hair is RV06 with stickles, her hair Y21,YR24, E35.

I cut the word "celebrate" with my wishblade and then colored it with the copics to match. I have distressed all the edges and then inked them Memories Direct Ink Duo Daubers. I ran the white card stock through the cuttlebug using swiss dots folder. The flower and the ribbon are from my stash. Thanks for coming by, your comments are very special to me.

Hi and thanks for coming by today, TGIF are you ready for the weekend? I am working this weekend so no big plans happening here :) Magnolia-licious is celebrating its 2nd birthday so they have lots of fun planned so for this week they wanted an explosion box. I was going to enter this in the little contest on the birthday blog as it said "have it posted by Friday the 21st" but is seems the link is gone ummmmmm wonder what is up there...oh well we will see what the powers to be do ! I had so much fun putting mine together as it is for a very special little Princess in my life......my youngest DGD who will be 5 the first week of June and this will fit right in to the new decor of her princess room ! I have used the castle stone window with Longing Tilda on one side, you can get these from Diana here on the other side I used Prince Phillip the frog and then I used the crown and put it on him so it looked like as he shrunk to frog status his crown stayed prince size.
I added some liquid embossing to his eyes for depth and also the crown rest on them. I decided to keep the outside of the box pretty simple as it will be shown open on her shelf. I am not sure what I am going to put on the lid so I will finish that later this week LOL !

On the inside I have used Princess Tilda (thanks Lorianna) I just love her I think she is my all time favorite Tilda, I have used the mini fairy Tilda and the butterfly from the Fairytale collection. I used little acetate arches to make them airborne.

The DP is Amplified jukebox collection. The little flowers are from the wedding section of Hobby Lobby, the doilies from a dollar bin somewhere, and the greenery are MS branch punch. The border on the box lid is cut on my wishblade, it kinda reminded me of a crown then I ran it through the cuttle bug for some texture and put a light coat of lavender chalk on it. The birthday sentiment is from the dollar bin at Michaels. All the images are colored with copics.

Thank you all for the nice comments about my card and for all of the congratulations to my son. I have to say this day has been full of emotion for me, as I have seen how hard my son has worked. The things he has had to miss out on because he had school work to do, and a family crisis which tore the very core of our family and yet he persevered. Now it is on to Anesthesia school and a Masters Degree !

Happy Friday to you all, hope you are having a fantastic day ! I have had a wonderful day off getting pampered with a pedicure and manicure and getting some things done I wanted to do. It is a really special weekend for me because tomorrow I will be watching my son Phillip walk with the University of Phoenix graduating class of 2010 with his Bachelors of Science in Nursing. I am so proud of him ..... Congrats to you Phillip ! Way to go....
Well this little card is for him and it is the first little Edwin I have ever done, he is #152 heart breaker Edwin from the "Raising the ceiling collection" and you can get him here from Diana. I love his little wings cause I have always called my boys my angels. I have followed the sketch at Magnolia-licious Highlites. The DP's are TPC studio, Class act Thoreau's quote. The little cap and diploma are stickers from Jolee's. Copics used B34, B41, E000, E00, E02, E30, E33, E39, C00, C1, C3, C5 and R20. I took a piece of jeans and put some colorless bender on it and dabbed it on his pants to give them a jean look. I added some stickles to his wings for bling. The sentiment in computer generated font is LD Walt, and I had wrote on the diploma.

The inside of the card says " Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you have imagined.....by Henry David Thoreau.

Froggy gift ! MMSC51

Well the weekend is coming to an end, hope you had a nice one...ours has been really windy here. I tell you I fell like I have been going in circles non stop, I have been working to much here lately however hopefully that will all change after this week as I have hired a new person. Ok on to my little card ! This little image just makes me smile, I love the frog, the backwards hat(how both of my boys wore them when they were little.... the youngest one(28) still does and those feet are just to much. I have followed the sketch over at Midnight Madness MMSC51. This card is really out of the norm for me as most of my coloring is of Tilda and girly type cards, but this is a special little card that is going to a very special little boy, my grandson Ricky IV that lives in Florida who is 6 and I miss so much.

The name of my image is called "Froggy gift" by High Hopes you can get him at 7 Kids College Fund he seems to be out of stock at the moment.....I was lucky enough to have a friend send me a couple, thanks Lena !

Sakura Gelly roll white use for highlight dots.
Frame and border were cut on my wishblade.
I inked the outer edge of the card with deep blue cat eye inks.

Hi and thanks for coming by I hope you are having a nice weekend, we are here the weather is just beautiful so that always makes for a good day in my book. Diana at Magnolia-licious is always thinking of fun things for us to do, so her latest challenge to us was, to create a card using "Right through my Heart" image. I had my little image already colored, and could not think of a thing to do with her....well lo and behold I woke up with this idea in my head and put it right into action. I have used the Oak tree stamp which I cut the branches off the right side and placed them over some hard to cut out areas in the center and on the left. The little dragon fly and frog prince are from the new spring collection and can be pre-ordered from Diana as well. I made my card a frame card for the depth. I have added some embroidery floss for the twine on the bow and made an arrow from a tooth pick, colored it with copics and the little feathers on the arrow are just hand drawn and cut. I added some gold stickles to the little frogs crown ! The background is a graphic I used from some images that I have from PC crafter, called "Earthscapes". I am hoping to get the air brush system soon. I hope you like my little take on this challenge it was lots of fun to put together.

I am going to enter this at Papertake Weekly where they want something different from the norm.
A Spoon full of Sugar they want something 3D.

I followed the sketch at Midnight Madness, it worked perfectly for my rounded image and I think it makes for a nice clean and simple style card. I am also going to enter this at Just Magnolia where this week anything goes. Another entry is Winter Wonderland where it is anything goes for Christmas also. Last but not least is Simon Says Challenge where they want things with wings.

My little Sparkling Tilda and the Snowy Circle around her are from the So Jolly, So Snowy collection and they seem to be out of stock right now however I am sure if you contact Diana she can get her for you.
She is colored with copics and I am sorry that I did not write them down for you. I have added stickles to her halo and on the snowflakes in the circle. DP is basic gray Eskimo Kisses, base card stock is from Michael's and the ribbon is from my stash.
The scalloped circles were cut on my wishblade and the snowflakes are from the MS snowflake punch, and I added some ultra fine Crystalescent glitter from Stampendous.

Spring is in the Air

Hi there thanks for coming by today, I hope you had a great Easter I did, we went to church and then just hung out at my son's and had Prime Rib and lots of goodies. There is nothing better than quality time with the family, we all did get a good shock when we had a pretty good earthquake here in AZ., we were use to them in CA but not here.

This little card today is called a Criss Cross card and you can find instructions here. Tilda with 3 flowers is from the new Hoppy Easter collection and you can get her from Magnolia-licious, just click on the link on my side bar. The little Tilda on the note part of the card is Sparkling Tilda from the So Jolly So Snowy collection. Both images are colored with copics and I have added Stickles to the flowers, wings and halo for a little bling. Edges are distressed with Tim Holtz walnut stain. The papers were just some I had in my stash I think I picked them up at Hobby Lobby. The Chandelier Glass Garland is from Magnolia-licious also.

Hi and happy Monday to you all ! I hope you have had an enjoyable weekend. I have had a great week actually, I am getting my backyard a complete make-over and it will be done tomorrow it looks so pretty. Lots going on around here with spring break, little league starting etc., so I have not been in my craft room to much lately I did find time yesterday to color this little cutie up and put together a card. This image is Tilda as a Shepherd and you can get her at Magnolia-licious, she seems to be out of stock at the moment but I am sure that Diana will order if you just get in touch with her. I am going to enter her in the sketch over at Midnight Madness-MMSC46

I have colored my image with Copics, DP is Cosmo Crickets Love Notes Wonderful. I have used the MS punch for the flower stems, flower is Prima. I cut the border on my wishblade. I used my Nesties Labels and did the out of bounds effect with Tilda. I have popped up the little lamb for some dimension and added stickles for a little bling.

I am taking the online Copic coloring classes from Suzanne Dean and I am really learning lots of good tips and techniques, so on this particular image I am showing the shading effect with the center lite source.

I think she will make a cute little Easter card. Thanks for coming by and have a great day.

Belles 'n Whistles is having a fun little challenge they wanna see all the different places that Belles 'n Whistles stamps reside. At my home they are actually not to far from where they are created. I live in the Southwest Desert of AZ in El Mirage. The beauty of the desert is just breath-taking. The lakes, cactus and the mountains just all come together put with a beautiful sunset can just make me appreciate the awesome wonder of our God. And as you can see they have lots of other little inky friends and are well looked after in my home as my Rottie "Nana" loves to lay and watch me craft and color. I hope you have enjoyed your peek into my little corner of the world.

Happy Friday everyone ! I am so happy the weekend is here and it is not raining ! I am so ready for sunshine and all that good spring stuff, and to make it even more fun I am on vacation !!!!! Ok on to the card, I made this card for the sketch over at Just Magnolia I thought I had until today but oops last night was the cut off oh well I had fun making it anyway. Dena came up with this little idea and you can find the tutorial here. Sweet Tilda

Happy Saturday to you all hope you are having a good one mine has been on and off LOL ! This morning was great went and watched my granddaughter play in the State Championship All Star game for Jr. High basketball they lost by one point. Just having a great day crafting after that and go to do laundry and the washer is not agitating or spinning holy moly it is not even 6 months old and of course can't get a service call till Monday morning. OK enough of all that and on to the little woven basket. Just Magnolia had a special challenge to create/alter an Easter basket/container. Well as life would have it I did not have time to do it then but I just fell in love with the DT's examples, especially Bev's so I was determined to make one. Well here is my take on the challenge you find the instructions on how to make this from Lena and if you have not seen the beautiful things she creates you are really missing out.

I have used "Sweet Tilda" and you can get her at Magnolia-licious don't forget if you are member of the Magnolia yahoo group you will receive special discounts on all purchases. DP used for the basket is KC & Co. and then I have distressed them with walnut stain by Tim Holtz. I cut the handle and the scalloped oval and circle with my wishblade, distressed them with the same and then went over the swiss dots with a lite pink chalk. Branch is MS punch and the little flowers just some that were in my stash. I have added some stickles to Tilda's hair ribbons, sleeve cuffs and a little bit on the edge of her skirt.
Copics used RV02, RV04, RV0000, R20, E00, E21, E31, E33, E35, E37, E43, YR61.

Hi and happy Sunday to you all, I hope you are having a great weekend. Mine did not start off to good yesterday I think I had a 24 hour bug....it seems to have left today so for that I am grateful. I decided to just take it easy and craft today it is the perfect day for that here as it is rainy and cold, well cold according to AZ standard LOL ! The DT over at Magnolia-licious Highlites challenged us to make a "Windshield Wiper Card" with a spring theme. You can find the instructions for these cute little cards here. I followed the sketch over at Friday Sketchers for the front of my card. I have made my little card from part of a card kit I rec'd from Anglea at SCS I really love this little image, and the papers and goodies she sent me were just perfect for this. My image is colored with copics, the little wiper images, and sentiment are computer generated from my PC Crafter clipart. Ribbon was a piece of scrap I saved from something and it is just perfect and I colored white brads to match the pink with copics, and there is some stickles in the flowers on her hat and in the basket.

Hi and happy Wednesday to you...can you believe it is already Feb. I tell you the time just seems to fly by these days ! I hope you are all having a great week, mine has been pretty good so far. I had this sweet image from an image swap and I tell you this is just one of the cutest little girls I have seen, she is called "Daisy" from Sugar Nellie, and the lady who sent me this embossed the stamping it is so cool. I have followed the sketch at KLSNS challenge #15 by Jodi, I really like this sketch and I am sure I will use it again. This will also qualify for the friends challege at Totally Paper Crafts .I have colored my image with copics, and added diamond stickles to the little Daisy and the Daisie's in her hair. The DP and flower are from KC and Company. Ribbon is Craft Essentials from Joann's and the sentiment is from my stash.

Pretty In Pink Blog Hop..."Loving Wishes"

Hi there and a Happy Monday to you ! Hope you are having a great start to your week, this is my only day off this week so I am trying to make it a fun one. I have made this little "Love Sealing Wax" Tilda for the Pretty in Pink Blog hop @ Magnolia-licious highlites . This little Tilda is on pre-order now over at the Magnolia-licious store she is in the Raising the Ceiling Collection.

I have tired lots of new things on this little card, I paper pieced her dress, I double stamped the image and cut out her arm and sealing wax and raised them with pop up dots, I did machine stitching and lastly I used the glue pad and glitter for my sentiment. I quilled my little hearts and added the rivets for the ribbon, and added stickles to the wax and Tilda's sleeves. The light pink DP is basic gray and the others are from K C & company. The sketch is one of the past Friday Sketchers sketches by Claudia.

This card was originally created by the very talented Claudia if you would like the instructions you can find them here. My image is colored with copics. I used Baby Blue color box chalks to shade in the background and I have added Polar White flower soft to her jacket. I also used Diamond stickles on her headband, socks and the little swirls, snowflakes and the shadowing at her feet. The little branches are the MS Christmas branch punch, the sentiment is from the Snag'em Stamps Snowy Jo collection. I used my distress tool on the sentiment and walnut distress ink.
DP is Imaginisce "Polar Expressions".

Happy Friday to you all hope you had a great week. Are ya doing anything special this weekend...we are having my DGS 12th birthday party tomorrow not sure how many little guys will be attending but I am sure all his buddies will be ready to go. Then it is church on Sun and more crafting for me !!!! Ok I know what you are thinking she is not going to give this card to her DGS LOL !! No I am not DGS is getting a store bought card this year ! This card is actually for no special reason, I just got my new "wrapped presents #404" stamp from Diana @ Magnolia-licious and I wanted to use them. They are in stock now if you want to grab them. They are in the So Snowy, So Jolly collection. Tilda is Dinner Tilda and I don't see her there right now but I am sure if you contact Diana she can get her for you.

My images are colored with copics and I have to say I did try a new technique with the skin and hair. I used Sharon's tutorials over at Gramma's House of Cards be sure a drop by and just see all the talent she has. I added some little rhinestones for Tilda's jewelry bling. The presents have some stickles on them and I used my new Baby's Breath Shimmerz on the Happy Birthday scallop. I have to tell ya that I am not liking that pink ribbon on there at all but I got a new ATG tape gun and once it is on it stays LOL ! The DP is Imaginisce and just basic purple cardstock. Hi and happy Monday to you all ! I hope you have had an enjoyable day, mine was very productive got all my Christmas decorations inside and out down and packed away. Gave my house a good cleaning, got a haircut and did some crafting ! My kind of day. I went to my LSS the other day and found this DP it is call Kaiser Craft had some cute designs but I have never heard of it. The heart border is cut on my wishblade, the little faux pearls are Pearl Strips by Kaiser craft as well, and I used the MS Christmas branch punch. Tilda is colored with copics R35,R37,R39,R00,R20,YR61,E00,E33,E35,E37,E51,B0000,B000,B00.

Wow can you believe we are just a couple of days away from 2010 ! I tell you the years just fly by these days. I hope you have a very safe and Happy New Year whatever you may be doing. I will be going to my son's and just hanging out playing games and watching movies. I am so excited I finally got my Winter kit stamps mounted so I could ink them up and play ! I used this cute little sketch from Dawny P over at Papertake Weekly if you have not been over there go check them out and join in the fun. This will also qualify for the Roses on Paper Challenge where the challenge is "colouring with your favourite medium/s" (copics) and using an approved stamp. Tilda is colored with copics, skin - YR61, E00, R20, hair and pants - E37, E35, E33, E31, blouse - RV11, RV13 little basket E51, E33, socks E51, RV13. I added diamond stickles to her blouse, socks and hearts. I have used Distress ink on the sides of the card and image. The DP is Basic gray extravagance mixed with some pieces I had in my stash. Happy Friday everyone ! Thanks for taking time out of your busy day to stop by and peak at my card. I made this for someone very special that works with me don't want to say her name in case she is peeking in here. I was planning on entering this card into 3 challenges however life got in the way and two of them have ended. I used the sketch from Friday Sketchers last week. At Just Magnolia they wanted anything Christmassy ! The challenge I will enter is Magnolia Down Under where they want Bedazzled. I have colored my image with copics. DP is Imaginisce "Polar Expressions". On the present and her stockings I have added some diamond stickles. Her little top knot on her hat and her gloves are done with "Polar white" flower soft. I cut the little border piece with my wishblade, distressed it with Antique Walnut distress ink, ran the ribbon through it which I had in my stash and added a little charm that my sweet friend Sharron gave when I was visiting her a couple of months ago.
Have a very Merry Christmas Season everyone I hope you have lots of treasured time with family and friends. There is nothing more special than the memories we make they are the most precious gift we can give !

Hi and happy Monday to you all ! I hope you had a nice weekend, I did went to the movies with my grand-daughter and we saw "New Moon". I also went and had a nice massage and crafted with a friend so life is good in my neck of the woods ! We are finally getting some much needed rain, so I apologize for the picture being a little dark. Today I want to show you this cute little stamp from Pink Cat Studio, you can get it from Stacy at the Scrapbooking Cottage this is "Lily the Snowflake Fairy" and she is just to cute for words. I have used the sketch from Beatrix over at Friday Sketchers. I used Brazil card stock for my base and then Basic Gray Eskimo kisses. She is colored with copics.RV11, RV13, RV14, E33, E37, E51, R0000, R20 B0000, B000, B00, B12. Her little jacket fur is done with fun flock. I cute the snowflakes with the wishblade and raised them for depth, they have dipped in crystal snow by "Stampendous". Sentiment stamp is a little stamp I had in my stash from Studio G clear stamps. Accessories make the card !

Happy Sunday to you all and thanks for coming by ! It seems as if I have not done anything lately with crafting....between the looming threat of a strike at work and just being really busy for the holidays I have just been drained to say the least. I am very glad that we did settle and there will be no strike Lord willing and the vote goes as it should.

The DT at Manolia-Licious highlites asked us to make a card with just accessory stamps. Kerry from
Three Clovers designs gave this cute sketch for the month at Mangnolia-Licious also ! Thanks ladies for stretching my imagination to make a card with out Tilda :(

This little card was more of a challenge than I expected...um just use the accessory stamps of which I only have two !!! This one which is a stamp of 3 trees that I won from Diana at Magnolia-Licious...thanks so much. I have colored them with my copics, and added some dimensional fabric paint for the snow. The little sign is computer generated from a graphic set called "Winter Pals" by Jordan Bryan. I then added some "Polar White" flower soft on the bottom and around the sign.

The DP is Basic Gray the Eskimo Kisses collection which I just love.

Well I am off to church and then to work hope you all have a great day and a Happy Thanksgiving !
